Collaboration is our value
In recent years, we have progressively expanded our past findings and theories to solidify the relationship between visual attention and event-related probability. By applying our well-developed works on visual search and attention control, along with brain-imaging techniques, we have been successfully examining the effects of event-related probability to visual attention and attention control behaviors. VCL is constantly growing through our ongoing ambition and passion for research, which has given us ample opportunities to work with many international researchers on collaborating projects worldwide.
Our current study interests:
- Visual attention, interaction and operational mechanisms of eye movement control as well as constructing theories based on these studies; the relationship between attention control and working memory; and the neural mechanisms of impulsive control and possible ways of its improvement.
- The application of theories on visual attention to impulsive control or impulsive violent offenders’ studies and sports and human performance.
- Adopting theories on attention and relevant new findings to train children to improve their ability to focus in order to optimize learning productivity.
- Investigate how TMS/tDCS affects and improve cognitive ability and its extensive application to intervention programs and clinical therapies
