Chi-Hung Juan earned a D.Phil. degree from the Department of Experimental Psychology, University of Oxford, UK (2002) and did his postdoctoral training in the Department of Psychology,Vanderbilt University, USA (2002~2003). He was a Taiwan-USA Fulbright scholar and visiting professor of the University of California, Irvine (2009) and the University of Oxford (2011). He is currently a Chair Professor in the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, National Central University,Taiwan. The institute was founded in 2003, Chi-Hung Juan is one of the founder members of the institute. His research interests include: neural mechanisms of visual attention, visual working memory and cognitive control, the cognitive development in preschoolers, the applications of brain stimulation techniques in depression, addiction, migraine, stroke and ADHD and translational cognitive neuroscience in education and clinical settings.
