Human Brain Stimulation Techniques and their Applications The VCL introduced the techniques of TMS to Taiwan in 2003. In recent years, we have incorporated the use of transcranial direct-current stimulation (tDCS) in our research studies. Our research topics include decision-making, impulse inhibition, visual working memory and visual attention. Over the years, we have accumulated vast study results and findings and have been progressively applying them into different study fields. In the near future, we aim to use our studies as a base to develop an integrated application comprised of various cognitive techniques in order to investigate deeper into the operational mechanism of the human brain.
