VCL is part of Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience (ICN), National Central University (NCU), Taiwan. Both ICN and NCU have sharing, pooling and partnership as a fundamental philosophy. For instance, NCU is part of University System of Taiwan, wherein four universities (National Central University, National Chiao Tung University, National Tsing Hua University, and National Yang-Ming University) have integrated their pedagogical functions and research resources in order to more fully and extensively cooperate in seeking further breakthroughs in overall teaching quality and research excellence. Therefore, VCL has received inherent property of sharing, pooling, and partnership. Our member utilizes equipment, transportation facilities, and books on sharing basis. Teachers and students are shared across the partner laboratory and institutes to balance the load. In fact, collaboration is one of the VCL value!
